Have you ever thought: One day, soon, even today, I’d really like to do something special that would really made a difference in something that I feel strongly about?
Have you ever asked yourself: Would I really like to help make a worthwhile transformation happen, that I could see unfold before by eyes, and feel great knowing that it happened because of what I did?
Although it’s true that we may not, in our lives, affect change much beyond the communities in which we live, you can in your own way affect extraordinary changes nevertheless by seizing the opportunity to make a difference in your own way.
The possibility exists for you, through the power of giving, to help shape important change within one of your communities: Camp Haiastan. By fulfilling the two questions asked of you above you will have seized the opportunity to:
- Join in the physical transformation of Camp Haiastan’s buildings, grounds, programs and activities.
- Impact the life of a 56-year-young Armenian community, family and institution.
- Be an unsung hero to what are now the third generation of Armenian youth attending Camp Haiastan.
How? How can you make a difference and then immediately see the results of your actions?
- When you give, you contribute directly impact change and through your generous action you bear witness to this transformation.
- By giving, you make a difference in the lives of dozens of Armenian children.
- By giving, you help mold the way the way people think about and perceive Camp Haiastan - most importantly your giving is contagious, it sets the example for many others to follow.
Now, as an Camp Haiastan Alumni Association member here’s how can you do it:
- Unrestricted cash donations such as in lieu of flowers, in memory of a loved one, annual Christmas Card solicitation, or a Walk of Honor Cabin Circle Brick.
- Through estate planning (securities, annuities, stocks and bonds)
- Naming opportunities through financial support of specific facilities and programs.
- Direct paycheck deduction for charitable donation.
- Matching employer/employee charitable donation.
Every donation, no matter what the amount, is vital to Camp Haiastan’s well being, not only because of the financial assistance that each collectively provide, but because each is an affirmation of your commitment, dedication and support.
Cabin Circle Bricks
The cabin circle has always been the focal point of that magical place we know as Camp Haiastan. This circle of friendship has been paved with bricks, many of which have already been engraved. What more fitting setting to place a momento? An engraved brick represents a lasting gift and a remembrance forever. It can be used to recognize a special occasion, person, group or time. And, it will be a permanent, personal remembrance in this significant community center of Camp Haiastan.
Each brick represents a $100 donation. The gifting of an engraved brick represents more than a remembrance. You will have the pleasure of knowing that your tax-deductible gift has also benefited and beautified Camp Haiastan.
